We start by gathering everything publicly available: the brand’s story, sourcing, ingredient lists, product labels and any published lab reports (certificates of analysis).
2. Sourcing
We look at where the hemp is grown, how the product is manufactured, and whether the brand is transparent about its supply chain.
3. Transparency
We check for accessible third-party lab testing, clear and accurate labelling, and claims that are honest rather than exaggerated. Missing or hard-to-find lab reports count against a brand.
4. Feedback
We consider what real customers report consistently over time — both the praise and the recurring complaints — across multiple sources.
5. Updates
We revisit our reviews as products, formulas and prices change, so our verdicts stay current.
Our standards
